Inteha E Ishq Sneak Peak in English
"Shall we go now, or do you have some other work left?" She rolled her eyes and asked in annoyance.
"Just ten more minutes, my blue-eyed doll." She lovingly patted her cheek and said.
"Uff, Aani...," she pouted and dropped her head into her hands.
"Just ten more minutes, my child, for your Aani." She spoke with affection. Nazli lifted her head and took a deep breath.
"All your work has to be done today, Aani. But fine, no problem. I'll wait a little longer." She said as if doing a huge favor. Simab burst into laughter at her tone.
"Thank you, my dear sweet Nazli," she ruffled her hair affectionately.
"It's okay, my young Aani." She smiled at her.
As she left the room, Nazli watched her retreating figure. Dr. Simab was her Aani, but she wasn’t much older than her. She looked more like her elder sister. When she disappeared from sight, Nazli got up from her chair, walked over to Aani’s chair, sat down with a smile, and picked up the stethoscope lying on the table, draping it around her neck. Leaning back in the chair, she gently rocked herself with closed eyes, a soft smile on her lips.
Meeting Aani always filled her with joy—just like a small child brightens up after seeing their mother after a long time. Sometimes, she spent one day of the week with Aani and her small family. Aani adored her, and they shared a deep friendship. That’s why Nazli only showed her tantrums to Aani—because people only express their whims and affections where they know they'll be indulged.
At home, the blue-eyed doll of her Mama and Aani was a completely different Nazli—lost in herself, lonely, and isolated.
As the thought of her Mama surfaced, the smile on her lips faded. A wave of sadness filled her heart. She missed her Mama terribly. Every word of hers, every expression on her beautiful face, was etched into Nazli’s heart. A single memory sent a cloud of grief over her. A lone tear escaped the corner of her closed eye and trailed down her cheek.
"I miss you, Mama." Her lips moved in a whisper.
Suddenly, loud voices came from outside. She sat up straight in an instant, quickly wiping her tear. She was just about to stand when the door opened, and two young men entered. They were engrossed in their conversation and didn’t notice her sitting in the corner. Nazli, however, narrowed her eyes and observed them.
One of them, wearing jeans and a shirt, looked worried. The other, dressed in a white shalwar kameez with a black shawl draped over his broad shoulders, had an arrogant and serious expression, with deep furrows on his forehead.
"Please sit here, Lala," the one in jeans said anxiously, helping the other man onto a chair.
"Come on, Dawar, relax," the deep voice responded.
"How can I relax when you're in pain, Lala?" Dawar looked at his elder brother with concern.
Nazli stood up, completely perplexed. What was going on? The two of them were lost in their own world. She stepped forward to get a look at this "Lala" and figure out what was wrong with him, but Dawar was standing right in front of her, blocking her view.
She was just about to say something when Dawar suddenly turned towards her and strode over with quick steps.
"Doctor, my Lala needs..."
